About
Hi there, my name is Taylor and I am so glad you are here.
You may have been experiencing anxious thoughts, low mood, and burnout. Or you may be neurodivergent and feel as though you cannot be authentically yourself around others. Perhaps you have been struggling with thoughts surrounding your body image, self-esteem, and eating habits. Or feel you are unable to manage your emotions…
Reaching out for support can take so much courage, and you do not have to be alone in what you are going through. Growing up, I saw the first-hand impact mental health can have through those closest to me. Navigating that time in my life sparked my passion for supporting those in need.
I know everyone’s story is different, and I hold a deep respect for each of our lived experiences. I aim to provide a safe space and walk alongside you in this journey. My approach not only focuses on insight, but I also aim to provide you with helpful tools so you can build up your coping toolbox.
My approach to therapy is founded in collaboration, inclusivity, warmth, empathy, compassion, curiosity, non-judgement, and authenticity. Together we work collaboratively to uncover new insights and create change.
I am informed by several approaches including aspects of Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialogic Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
As I mentioned before, reaching out takes true courage, and I am glad you are here. If you feel we might be a good fit, please join me for a free 15–20-minute consultation so we can explore further how to best support you. I look forward to meeting you ☺
