About
Welcome! I’m Sophie, a therapist who uses a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to support individuals facing various challenges.
I’ve supported children, youth, adults, and families across community, school, and hospital settings — experience that’s shaped my inclusive, relationship-focused approach. I am dedicated to supporting individuals facing mental health challenges in a way that is empowering and accessible. I honour each client’s unique identity and lived experience, and tailor therapy to meet your specific needs.
My practice is grounded in collaboration, non-judgement, and warmth. I work with people navigating life transitions, relationship issues, trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression. My practice integrates various therapeutic techniques to best meet your specific needs and goals for therapy.
Our work will be grounded in principles of Person-Centred Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy — always grounded in respect, care, and collaboration.
In my free time, I enjoy baking and trying new foods. I also love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, biking, or exploring a new area. I find relationships to be truly healing, and try to spend a lot of my free time with loved ones.
Starting therapy might feel intimidating, uncomfortable, or overwhelming. As your therapist, my priority is to ease these concerns and provide an environment where you feel safe, accepted, and heard.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honoured to support you. Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation today.
