About
Do you feel like you are constantly living on autopilot? You may find yourself stuck in a state of high alert, feeling completely numb, or weighed down by past wounds. I recognize how challenging these experiences can be and aim to support you in ways that honour your voice as the expert in your life.
Through navigating my own experiences and supporting those close to me, I have witnessed both the challenges of mental health and the healing that compassionate support can offer. These experiences fostered a deep motivation to understand others, inspired my path toward a career in counselling, and continue to shape my commitment to providing a safe, validating space for clients.
My approach is warm, non-judgemental, and culturally informed, with a focus on building genuine trust. Together, we will explore your innate strengths and capacity for growth, while tailoring therapy to your needs and goals. To support this foundation, I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based techniques to encourage meaningful self-reflection and strengthen your connection to your emotions, thoughts, and body.
I am currently completing a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto and hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University. Over the past four years, I have supported trauma survivors across diverse settings and bring a trauma-informed approach to my work. I also specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and burnout.
Outside of my role, I enjoy reading, painting, working out, thrifting, walking my dog Finley, and spending time cuddling with my cats. I also value spending time with family and friends. If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to schedule an initial consultation to connect and explore your next steps.
